Express Entry
Elena has been specializing on Express Entry applications since the Express Entry system was first introduced in 2015. She will help you understand many nuances of the Express Entry system and review every detail in your application before it’s filed.
We provide expert guidance through Canada’s Express Entry system, including:
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)
We help you assess your CRS score, build a strong Express Entry profile, submit a complete application for permanent residency, and monitor the progress of your application once it’s been filed.
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)
Elena has helped hundreds of BC PNP applicants to secure their provincial nominations through the province of BC.
Whether you are a BC-based employer looking to support your foreign workers’ permanent residence and work permit applications, worker, student, or entrepreneur, who would like to learn more about how the BC PNP process works, we are here to help you choose the right stream, collect the required documents, and submit a strong application.
We also assist with the BC PNP post-nomination support, including extending your nomination, applying for a work permit support letter, or notifying the BC PNP of change in your circumstances (e.g. change of employment, family composition, or immigration status).
Spousal Sponsorship
At EEZ Immigration Law, we are passionate about bringing families together and helping them build life in Canada. We take the time to learn about your unique relationship story and translate it into a strong application package.
Whether you have been married for many years with kids or have been in a marriage like relationship for only a year, it feels equally intimidating to navigate the process as spousal sponsorship applications require both you and your sponsor to meet specific eligibility criteria, complete numerous application forms, and submit sufficient proof showing that your relationship is genuine.
We will help you understand the difference between in-Canada spousal sponsorship and overseas spousal sponsorship options to ensure that you select the right category from the start. We will also help you develop a strategy on how to regularize your temporary resident status while your spousal sponsorship application is in the process.
Canadian Citizenship
You have built your life in Canada and ready to take the final step in your immigration journey – become a Canadian citizen!
Or it could be that you have discovered that one of your parents or grandparents might be a Canadian citizen, but you are unsure if they passed it to you.
Either way, we will help you navigate this process and ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria.
Business Immigration
You focus on hiring the talent you need for your business to thrive – we focus on solving how to bring your talent to Canada.
At EEZ Immigration Law, we have over 10 years of experience providing solution-oriented advice to small businesses, startups, tech companies, and multi-national corporations. We will work with you to ensure that you can bring and retain the right talent to support your business in Canada.
In general, employers are required to obtain a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) under high-wage/low-wage streams or Global Talent Stream (GTS) before their foreign talent can apply for a Canadian work permit under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
In some circumstances, your business may be eligible to support your employees’ work permit applications through various LMIA-exempt work permit categories under the International Mobility Program (IMP), including international free trade agreements (e.g. CUSMA, CETA, CPTPP, GATS, etc.), significant benefit category, or provincial nominee category.
We will take the time to understand your business needs and long-term goals to ensure that we discuss all possible solutions with you. At EEZ Immigration Law, we will prepare customized immigration service plan that fits your business needs and budget to ensure that you are not stressed about handling immigration aspect of your business whether you need us to file dozens of applications each month or only a couple applications per year. You will have a piece of mind that your business has a dedicated immigration lawyer when you need one.
Employer Compliance & Audits
If your business has hired at least one temporary foreign worker, you and your global mobility staff should understand how the employer compliance regime works. Even if you had zero compliance issues before, your business can still be randomly selected for a compliance inspection as far back as 6 years.
When we start working with your business, we will help you develop strategies to keep your business compliant, discuss the documents you need to keep in order to be prepared for an inspection, and provide compliance audit support. Additionally, we offer ongoing training to ensure your team understands the compliance requirements.
