As the founder of EEZ Immigration Law, based in Vancouver, BC, Elena brings over 10 years of legal expertise with her own lived experience as an immigrant. Having come to Canada as an international student and eventually becoming a Canadian citizen, she knows firsthand the challenges, hopes, and milestones of building a new life in Canada.
Elena has successfully represented thousands of clients from individuals to multinational corporations. She is known for her clear communication and practical, solution-oriented mindset. As someone who is highly passionate about access to justice, Elena is continuously working on developing services tailored to do-it-yourself (DIY) applicants such as legal coaching.
Outside of her law practice, Elena enjoys staying connected with her local community, advancing her expertise in AI technology, and advocating for the wellbeing of lawyer-parents in the profession.
Our Mission
At EEZ Immigration Law, we don’t believe in chasing long client lists. Our focus is on quality, not quantity. Elena’s goal is to maximize your chances of success by truly understanding your circumstances and building a strong immigration case.
After many years of experience in the field, Elena founded her own immigration practice with the goal to disrupt how immigration services are being provided. She is constantly learning about responsible use of technology and AI tools in immigration practice and brainstorming new creative ways to provide affordable immigration guidance to people who can’t afford to hire an immigration representative.
How We Work
This is what you can expect when you start working with EEZ Immigration Law*:
Step 1. Options & Strategy
Elena will have one-hour consultation with you to understand your circumstances and discuss possible options. Elena’s approach is grounded in developing the best immigration strategy for your situation, depending on your short-term and long-term goals in Canada.
If you are considering Elena’s legal coaching services, you still need to schedule a consultation first as we want to make sure that these services are appropriate for your situation.
Step 2. Application Drafting & Filing
Once you have made a decision to work with us, we will start working on your immigration application. We will guide you step-by-step to ensure you know what you need to do to achieve your immigration goals.
Step 3. Post-Filing Support
Our representation does not end after your application has been filed. We will make sure that we assist you with submitting any additional documents or updates while your application is in the process. If the processing of your application is delayed, we will follow up with IRCC.

Legal Fees
We keep our legal fees transparent from the start to ensure you know exactly how much it will cost to work with us, so that there are no surprise fees later. We will discuss our legal fees as well as government processing fees once we have assessed your case.
